The Jerusalem Public Ministry is launching a new day planner, which will show how the city’s streets will look during the Jewish New Year.
The new planner, designed by Israeli firm BAM, will show the city at its most active on the Sabbath, and at the end of the Jewish month of Yom Kippur, which starts on the first Monday of November.
“The city is going through its busiest period of the year, which is the day of rest,” said Moti Sharifi, a spokesperson for the public ministry.
“So we wanted to design a day planner that reflects this.”
Sharifi said that the planner will include daily and monthly activities for pedestrians, bicyclists, transit users and cyclists, along with other city functions.BAM is currently working on a new planner that will be unveiled on December 9.
According to the public office, the new planner will show a better picture of Jerusalem’s infrastructure.
“We are planning to make sure the planner is more visually pleasing, and we will be implementing the design as soon as we have the time,” Sharifi said.
“This is the first time that we have used a day-planner as part of the daily work.
We are very excited about this.”
The planner will be launched on January 4.
