By JAMES DANNYRICH The bride-to-be and her new planner are getting ready to start their first Christmas together in Washington.
They will have a little girl who they both adore, a family they have never met and an event that will be the biggest in their lives.
So when the new planner was hired, it seemed like the perfect fit.
She and her partner had worked together at a wedding planning company for three years and they had a wonderful time together.
But as they watched the wedding from their office at the National Press Club, the tension of the day began to rise.
I knew that there was something about the day that we had never done before, and I wanted to make sure we had done the right thing.
So I was trying to figure out what was the right decision, said the planner.
And that was the first time that I said to her, “I’m going to hire you.”
My boss and I were talking about it when I got the call from my manager saying, “We have to hire someone to do this.”
And I said, “Yeah, you have to do it.
We need a new planner.”
And she said, “”I think it’s the right move.
“I think I will be a better planner than I am now.
I have a better understanding of the logistics of the wedding, of the people that will attend, of what’s going to happen.
And I have more in common with the people I am planning with than I do with the bride-and-groom.
It has been the biggest, most emotional and most stressful day of my life.
I have been thinking about what I want to do and what I need to do to make it happen, said Rachel, who is now a planning professional.
I’m so grateful to be here with this great team of people, said Kate, who plans a Christmas wedding for her friend.
They have been amazing.
We have been together for almost a year.
I just want to be ready for this moment, said Jill.
And I want you to know that I am so proud of what we have achieved.
The planning team is really, really strong, and the entire team is so supportive and loving.
They’ve helped me to be a much better planner.
I want to thank my co-workers for giving me the confidence to go out there and do it and to give me the tools to do that, said Sarah, who will be leading the wedding.
And the most important thing for me is that it’s a good day for my family.
I feel like my mom is going to be so happy that she is finally celebrating her 25th anniversary.
She’s been waiting for this.
And for the whole wedding team, it was a huge milestone, said Jennifer, who has been planning the wedding since last year.
