On Thursday, the Rossoneri announced the signing of Diego Forlan, who will join the club on a one-year contract.
The striker is currently the number one scorer in Serie A and has scored 30 goals in his last 30 appearances.
The 25-year-old scored six goals in the previous games.
He will join up with the squad in August and has been included in the squad for the upcoming friendly with Napoli.
The move is not without its critics.
Many believe Forlan will be a good addition for the Rossonero’s attacking style, as they can play with a wide and deep midfield, but it could be argued that he is not a true winger.
He is a striker, and the Rossona are not known for playing wide players.
He scored in his first season with the club, in the 2015/16 campaign, but only scored four goals in 20 games.
The Argentine striker has already played for the Argentine national team, scoring three goals in four appearances.
He has been linked with a move to Manchester United, but he may not be a long-term target for the club.
Another Argentine striker is Giorgio Chiellini, who has been a regular in the Rossoni’s starting line-up since 2014.
He only started five games for the Serie A outfit, but did start two matches for the international team.
However, Chiella has scored five goals in 16 league games this season, with three coming in his six appearances for the national team.
He started in all three games for Italy at the World Cup and scored a brace.
The 26-year of age has played for Fiorentina, Roma, Napoli, Udinese, Lazio and Inter.
He made his debut for Italy in 2006 and is currently a regular for the Nerazzurri.
