The Oregon Bureau of Land Management (BLM) has released the 2018 Oregon Fall Harvest Planner app, which lets you see which trees are most ripe and how many trees are in the top three tiers of the state’s tree canopy.
The app allows users to save and track tree counts across Oregon, while the BLM’s tree information is stored on the mobile app.
The new app also includes a tree tracker, which can provide information about how many leaves, stems, roots and other debris are on each tree.
“The goal is to make it as easy as possible to plan your fall harvest,” BLM forest manager Bob Holton said.
“With this app, we’re going to do that with our existing customers and help them make informed decisions that will help them enjoy their fall harvest.”
The new Oregon Fall Calendar app will be available on the Apple App Store in early September.
The 2019 Fall Harvest Calendar app is expected to be released this fall.
